Welcome to the J. Render’s Speakeasy…a one-of-a-kind private event space tucked in right next to our restaurant in Beaumont Centre. Whether you are planning a corporate gathering, birthday celebration, rehearsal dinner, holiday party, celebration of life, or a night that is just a little bit legendary, the Speakeasy is a wonderful option for your next event.
With space for up to 50 guests, a fully customizable food and bar menu, and the warm Southern hospitality J. Render’s has been known for over a decade, we handle every detail.
How many people does it hold?
The Speakeasy comfortably seats up to 40 guests. We can serve up to 50 if it is cocktail style.
What kinds of events is the Speakeasy good for?
Pretty much any occasion you want to make memorable! Corporate events, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, team celebrations, bridal showers, anniversary dinners, bourbon tastings, and more. If you want a private space with incredible food, this is your place
Is the Speakeasy completely private?
Yes! The Speakeasy is a secluded space separate from the main restaurant, so your group can celebrate without interruption. Restrooms are located in the main restaurant.
What is included in the event packages?
We offer several package options for brunch, lunch, and dinner, ranging from $25 to $45 per person. Each package includes a selection of meats, sides, desserts, or hors d’oeuvres depending on the package you choose. View the full Speakeasy menu for all the details.
Can we add a bar to our event?
Absolutely! We offer both cash bar and prepaid bar options. Prepaid bar packages include wine and beer, full bar with house liquors, or full bar with premium liquors. We can also create a signature cocktail just for your event with enough notice!
Do you offer audio visual equipment?
Yes! Audio visual is available. Just indicate that you need it when you fill out the inquiry form.

Absolutely! We want your event to feel like yours. Bring your decorations and personal touches, and we will help make the space feel exactly right.
Is parking available?
Yes! We are located in Beaumont Centre with plenty of parking available for your guests.
Does the Speakeasy have its own entrance?
The Speakeasy is located next to our main restaurant. Enter through the restaurant and you’ll see the sliding doors with the peephole. Guest often have fun utilizing the peephole like a real Speakeasy!
