August 30, 2022 – Lexington, KY – Take a trip back to the days of ragtime and flapper-style fun
when you step into Lexington’s newest private party event space, the J. Render’s Speakeasy.
Located adjacent to J. Render’s Southern Table and Bar restaurant at 3191 Beaumont Centre
Circle, you’ll find this beautiful gem ideal for private parties, business meetings, family
gatherings, and more.
“It was time to elevate a space on this side of town. We wanted to make it warm, inviting, and
special, and knew it needed to be something different for people to experience,” say owners
Gwyn and Ren Everly. Many know the Everly dynamic duo from their restaurant, catering
services, food truck, and strong community involvement.
The J. Render’s Speakeasy’s entrance is located inside the restaurant, complete with sliding
barn doors and a peephole. The space is secluded, seats up to 50 guests and has full A/V
capabilities including four extra-large screen televisions, a sound system, and microphones. The
decor gives off an authentic 1920’s speakeasy style with exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and
vintage dimmable lighting fixtures. Additionally, there are a variety of flexible and creative food
and beverage packages, including new menu items exclusive to the speakeasy.
The official ribbon cutting for the J. Render’s Speakeasy will be held on Tuesday, September 6
at 4:00 pm and is open to the public. Patrons of the restaurant have already begun reserving the
space for holiday parties, sports events, rehearsal dinners, celebrations of life, bridal/baby
showers, Keeneland meetings, business meetings, and more.
